Demo 2: Aquifer Structure
In class (Thursday Aug 28th) we discussed the geologic structure of
aquifers, or reserves of ground water (see lecture notes for more information),
and we built a model aquifer in class.
As an assessment I asked students to draw a cross-section of their
model aquifer, and then to describe the ground water resources in
Miami-Dade County (FL). Here is an exemplary
answer from one of your classmates.
