Anu kangarooingAnu kangarooing Aditi.  The baby is now taking a little milk from breast and bottle, and getting the rest by tube.  She is now taking 20ml eight times a day, and gaining about 15-25g daily.














out of the isoletteSeptember 28th:  Aditi is out of the Isolette and thermoregulating on her own.   She is now taking 22 ml of milk by combination of tube, breast and bottle, 8 times a day.














Aditi joins the Kilo ClubSeptember 28: At 15 days since birth, Aditi reached 1010g and joined the Kilogram Club.  Per tradition, Mike baked a carrot cake for the NICU staff.


October 1: Dr. Richards estimates that if all goes well Aditi may be able to come home in 1-2 weeks.











Aditi bottle-feedingOctober 4: Today Aditi took over half of her feeds by bottle and breast, rather than gavage (tube)  That's a big change even from yesterday.   She's now taking 30ml eight times a day.
